Disciplines: Road, TT | Brian has been a member of the Tioga Velo Club since 1986. Coming into cycling from a running career, Brian had previously posted a best marathon time of 3 hours and 1 minute. He moved into triathalons and has qualified for his age group at the National Championships at Hilton Head twice and has numerous age group wins locally in triathlons. Brian is a strong rider and amazingly seems to get better as he ages. |

Lloyd Campbell

Disciplines: Road, TT | In his 12th year of competitive cycling, Lloyd has continued to improve on the bike both physically and mentally. In 2009 Lloyd was a support rider on most local and regional courses for the team and had to sit out most of the 2010 season due to other committments. In addition to all the “on the road” work, he was the Vice-President of Time Trials for the Tioga Velo Club from 2002 - 2005 and has been the Tioga Velo Club President from 2006 till the present. |
Michael Guenther

Brad Helmetsie

Disciplines: Road | Brad joined us as a Cat 5 and competed in over 12 weekend races in addition to a majority of races on the TVC schedule. He has enjoyed a steady improvement in his first couple seasons of racing as he finished the 2011 season consistently placing in the top 10 and in 2012 he seemed to be picking up steam just as everyone else was tiring out. Expect to see him on a podium near you in 2013! |
John Hendrickson

Disciplines: Road, CX, MTB | John has been riding and racing both mountain and road bikes for the past 11 years. With the arrival of a new child in 2007, John’s participation was limited to a few events for a few seasons but has returned, and will be continuing to do his duties as a support rider at several events in 2013. |
Wayde Herneisey

Disciplines: Road, TT, MTB | A well rounded rider, Wayde is always working for his fellow teammates. His work ethic in the peloton is unrivaled and is always needed to help the team get someone in the right position to contend for the win. |
Christopher Jones
Road Category: 4
Disciplines: Road, TT, CX, MTB | Chris started out mountain biking and started road racing in 2008. He has since taken on the role of Road Race Co-VP with TVC. Chris is a great all around rider who is a fairly strong climber and a decent sprinter, and he has been getting stronger during Time Trials as well. For the Fall seasons, he has been putting his mountain biking skills together with his road strength to be successful in Cyclocross racing, consistently finishing in the top 10 in the 2010 and 2011 seasons, even winning a couple races. |
Jack Kane

Disciplines: Road | Jack just started riding road bikes and racing in 2013 and already is racing strong, getting on the podium in 2 races at Chris Thater in 2013 and finishing top 10 at Battenkill in 2014. We are glad to have him on the team. |
Patrick Kapinus

Disciplines: Road, TT, CX, MTB | Entering his 11th year of competitive cycling in 2013, Pat is an excellent all around cyclist with good speed on the flats and great climbing skills. Pat is capable of reaching the podium on any given day and is also willing to do his assigned duty when the course is not favorable to him. |
Michael Meier

Disciplines: Road, CX | Mike started racing in 2005 and is another well rounded rider who manages to do the work the team requires of him and still be able to finish with the peloton. His endurance in longer races makes him extremely useful to put in those late race attacks while the team sets up our specialists. His dedication to the team and the sport are unrivaled. |
Jon Murray

Disciplines: Road | Jon began road racing in 2011 and quickly learned the ropes, placing well in local weekend races, including 8th place in the AVRE Race For Sight B field, second in the Chris Thater citzen's under 35 field, and fourth in the Montrose Applefest Cat 5 field. When he isn't climbing hills on a road bike, Jon enjoys competing in running races and triathlons and teaching junior high school students English. |
Jeffrey Poulin

Disciplines: Road, TT | Jeff is an active supporter of cycling both on and off the bike. Jeff promotes, officiates, coaches, and volunteers at numerous USA Cycling races across the state. He has been a TVC officer for the past 15 years (including 7 as club president), has coordinated NY State racing activities for the past 11 yrs, and currently serves as President of the NY State Bicycle Racing Association (NYSBRA). |
Charles Rhoades

Joe Walker

Disciplines: Road | Joe comes to racing after many years of riding. In 2008 Joe was runner up in the TVC A road race points competition and rode in 29 races over the season. Joe is an excellent all around rider who likes to get away in a breakaway group as well as do his part to help the team when the opportunities for him to get away are not there. Joe was a Tioga Velo Club Vice President for the 3 years and is RUUD’s treasurer. |
Ben Webster

Disciplines: Road | Ben is a current member of TVC and rode for some time in the club starting around 1999 and continuing while attending college at Virginia tech. He took about 4-5 years off from racing to build a house, but then spent the summer of 2012 getting back into racing and will be a licensed Cat 4 rider (again) this spring. We look forward to racing with him in 2013, and hope we can learn from his collegiate racing experiences. |
